As an RN in the Pediatric Operating Room, you will deliver professional nursing care to patients 6-months old and up, undergoing surgical and other invasive procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification; ACLS within six months if applicable.
• One year RN experience; OR substitution allowed with LPN experience in same department.
• Willingness to work in pediatric OR and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric surgical patients, circulate, scrub and float as needed.
• Assess patients, document findings, notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Coordinate care plans with families and healthcare team; discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families and participate in education and research activities.
