Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the OR, focusing on pediatric acute care in Dayton, Ohio. The PRN role offers flexible scheduling and W2 employment, with opportunities to work in the OR (Peds) unit.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of OR experience, Ohio RN license, BSN in progress or completed, BLS and ACLS, with CNOR preferred. Start date as credentialing completes.

Qualifications

• Ohio RN license required and 2+ years in OR (Peds).
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred; pediatric OR experience a plus.
• Background screening and onboarding requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for pediatric patients in the OR.
• Perform assessments and interventions to ensure patient safety during surgery.
• Assist surgeon and coordinate care between the unit and the OR.
