Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity lets you apply your passion for nursing in the OR with flexible scheduling.

The role requires OR experience in pediatrics, a valid Ohio RN license, and credentials including BLS, ACLS (PALS preferred). W2 employment and weekly pay are offered with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must have American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• The OR RN provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room and performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
