Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows you to apply your passion for pediatric surgery and patient care.

Qualified candidates will have OR experience with pediatrics, Ohio RN licensure, and BSN in progress or completed, plus BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred. Flexible scheduling and W2 employment are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• American Heart Association Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Pass background screening and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room and performs assessments during surgery.
• Assists the physician in the plan of care and ensures continuity between the patient care unit and the OR.
