Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply for their passion in nursing and being in the OR.

Candidates with OR experience are strongly encouraged to apply. The position offers flexible PRN scheduling and W2 employment with weekly pay and benefits if eligible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN license required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required; PALS preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to pediatric patients within the operating room, performing assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
