Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply for their passion in nursing and being in the OR. Candidates with OR experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

The OR RN is responsible for patient assessments, maintaining safety during procedures, and coordinating care between the OR and patient care units.

Qualifications

• Two years OR (Peds) RN experience required.
• Ohio RN license required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred; pediatric experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• The OR RN provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room.
• Performs assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician and ensures continuity between care units and OR.
