Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply their passion for nursing and be in the OR. Candidates with OR experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years OR (Peds) RN experience, an Ohio RN license, a BSN, and certifications (BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred). It offers flexible scheduling, W2 employment, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds)
• Ohio RN License required
• BSN degree required or in progress
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements
• CNOR highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room and perform assessments to keep patients safe during surgery
• Assist physicians in the plan of care and ensure continuity between care units and the OR
