Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN role offers flexibility and self-scheduling with W2 status, ideal for RNs with OR (Peds) experience who thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.

The position requires Ohio RN license, BSN or in progress, and current BLS/ACLS; CNOR preferred. Candidates should have strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills and pass credentialing and

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN OR (Peds) experience
• Ohio RN License required
• BSN degree required or in progress
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Must have American Heart Association
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• CNOR highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
