Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN role offers self-scheduling flexibility, W2 employment, and competitive pay in the OR for pediatric patients.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of OR (Peds) experience, an Ohio RN license, a BSN or progress toward one, and current BLS/ACLS; CNOR is preferred. Benefits include weekly pay and health insurance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking.
• BLS, ACLS required; CNOR preferred.
• Pass background screening and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• The OR RN provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room and conducts safe assessments during surgery.
• Assists physicians, ensures continuity of care between the patient care unit and OR.
