Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital located in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity focuses on pediatric surgical care and requires strong clinical skills and teamwork.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of OR (Peds) experience, Ohio RN licensure, and active BLS/ACLS; CNOR is highly preferred. Weekly pay, benefits eligibility, and flexible scheduling accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds)
• Ohio RN License required
• BSN degree required or in progress
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Must have American Heart Association
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• CNOR highly preferred

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room, performs assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care and ensures continuity between the patient care unit and the OR.
