Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN (Peds) for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling and W2 employment, with ongoing credentialing and onboarding requirements.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of OR RN experience, Ohio RN license, and BSN degree (or in progress). BLS and ACLS are required; PALS preferred. Start date is ASAP, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the OR and perform assessments to ensure safety during surgery.
• Assist the physician in implementing the plan of care for the patient and ensure continuity between the patient care unit and the OR.
• Maintain patient safety and monitor for adverse events throughout the perioperative period.
