Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN (Peds) for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, OH. This PRN role offers self-scheduling and W2 employment with competitive hourly pay.

Requirements include 2+ years in OR (Peds), OH RN license, BSN degree (or in progress), and BLS/ACLS (PALS preferred). The position features flexible scheduling and potential for ongoing assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must have American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• The OR RN provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room, performing assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and ensures continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
