Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced OR RN (Peds) for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN role offers self-scheduling flexibility and requires a current Ohio RN license with OR experience in Pediatrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required
• BSN degree required or in progress
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Must have American Heart Association Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• CNOR highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
