Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling and requires a minimum of 2 years in OR (Peds) with current Ohio RN licensure.

The RN must hold BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS and CNOR are preferred. Start date is as soon as credentialing is completed, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must have American Heart Association Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room, performs assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery, and assists the physician in the plan of care.
