Job summary

Nursing Rocks! Concert Series in Gilbert, AZ is hiring a full-time OR Circulating Nurse for the weekend. The role alternates Friday, Saturday and Sunday, then Saturday, Sunday, Monday, with a DAY shift from 8am-5pm.

Enjoy a $10/hr weekend incentive plus a 15% shift differential. No on-call requirements. The position supports pediatric through multiple specialties in the East Valley Operating Room, collaborating with the health care team to deliver evidence-based nursing care.

Qualifications

• Two year ADN, four year BSN, or Diploma Nursing (Required)
• Current State of Arizona RN license or compact-state RN licensure (Required)
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider (Required)
• Bachelor's in Nursing or RN to BSN program (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Functions as OR Circulating Nurse in the operating room.
• Collaborates with healthcare team, patients and families to provide nursing care.
• Cares for patients across specialties including General, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Cardiac, Transplant, ENT, Plastics, and Urology.

Schedule: Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun (days vary), Shifts Vary, 8am-5pmPosting Note: Our East Valley Operating Room is hiring a full time Circulating Nurse for the Weekend! This unique position will alternate working Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and then alternate Saturday, Sunday, Monday. This position does NOT require Call!!! You can be part of our amazing team who care for surgical patients in all specialties, including General, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Cardiac, Transplant, ENT, Plastics, and Urology. Responsibilities include functioning in the OR Circulating role. OR, Pediatric OR experience. This is a full time position DAY shift (additional 15% shift diff), Friday, Sat, Sun weekend incentive of an ADDITIONAL $10/hr!!! NO CALL!!! NO new grads, please. This position works in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care appropriate to patients age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards and hospital goals, values and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree (Required)

Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date (Required)

Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association prior to start date (Required)

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program (Preferred)
