Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cancer & Blood Disorders IP Unit (0.9 FTE, Nights). You will provide safe, family-centered pediatric care using the Nursing Care Process, collaborating with families and the health care team.

Requirements include a WA RN license, BLS, and pediatric experience. PEARS or PALS are acceptable; CHC policies and CPI initiatives guide daily practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Prior experience in a pediatric related health care setting may be required for specific departments.
• Current Washington State RN License.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Care Process.
• Collaborate with patients, families and health care team to ensure safe, family-centered care.
• May supervise and delegate tasks to Nurse Technicians, LPNs, CMAs and CNAs as defined by state rules.
• Support Seattle Children's strategic goals and CPI initiatives.
