Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at The American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI. The 16-bed unit cares for infants to adolescents with hematology, oncology, and immunology diagnoses, including transplant patients.

90% FTE with evening/night shifts and rotation on weekends/holidays. BSN preferred; WI RN license or compact license required; CPR/BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Inpatient RN experience preferred.
• Current WI RN license or compact license required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to pediatric patients on hematology/oncology unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver care.
• Administer therapies including transplant and state-of-the-art treatments.
• Document patient status and maintain accurate records.
