Job summary

Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Float Pool (Night Shift). The role includes working with PICU/CICU/NICU teams, delivering safe, family-centered care and using the Nursing Process to assess and plan care with patients and families.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold a WA RN license, and maintain BLS; PALS/PEARS acceptable in lieu of BLS for certain areas. Pediatric critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• WA RN license required; BLS/PEARS or PALS as applicable.
• Pediatric care experience preferred; driving record acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, family-centered patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with families.
• May supervise and delegate tasks to other staff as defined by policy.
• Contribute to CPI, safety and quality initiatives in the unit.
