Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room (0.6 FTE, Nights). The role begins at 6:30pm with two 12-hour shifts and includes relocation assistance.

The RN will deliver family-centered care and follow state and organizational standards while collaborating with the care team and families. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and one year OR circulator experience; pediatric healthcare experience is preferred for some departments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year OR Circulator nursing experience.
• Prior experience in a pediatric related health care setting, or a specific area of nursing, may be required for specific departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, family-centered patient care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with patient and family and health care team.
• May supervise and delegate tasks to Nurse Technicians, LPNs, CMAs, CNAs, and others as defined by state rules.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

One year OR Circulator nursing experience.

Prior pediatric healthcare experience (dept. specific).
