Job summary

Seattle Children's in Washington is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the CICU on a 0.9 FTE night shift (36 hours). This 24-bed quaternary care unit serves four states (WA, AK, MT, ID) and supports advanced cardiac care including ECMO and VAD therapies.

The RN must hold a WA State license and BLS; PEARS/PALS accepted in lieu of BLS. ACLS not accepted. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Pediatric healthcare setting experience preferred for specific departments.
• Current WA State RN license and BLS required; PEARS/PALS accepted in lieu of BLS; ACLS not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, family-centered patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in collaboration with patient and family and health care team.
• May supervise and delegate tasks to licensed staff as defined by state rules and contribute to CPI initiatives.
