Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is seeking a Per Diem RN for Hematology/Oncology to provide night-shift nursing care. You will assess, implement and evaluate care plans for pediatric patients, including chemotherapy administration and central line monitoring, while maintaining family-centered care.

The role requires a BSN, Florida RN license, BLS, PALS within one year, and pediatric oncology chemotherapy certification within one year. Strong EMR skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida or multistate license
• BLS CPR certification
• PALS certification within 1 year of hire
• CHEMO/APHON Pediatric Chemotherapy certification within 1 year

Responsabilités

• Plan, implement and document the plan of care with a multidisciplinary team
• Administer chemotherapy and medications per six rights of medication administration
• Monitor immuno-compromised patients including central lines and lab results
• Perform multi-system assessments and ensure patient safety and comfort
• Provide education to families about diagnosis, treatment plan and resources
