Connect Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in the Allen Heights area in San Antonio, Texas. You will provide in-home therapy services to pediatric patients and collaborate with families to set and track goals.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will document progress, adjust treatment plans with Supervising OT, and ensure holistic care across settings. Reliable transportation and Texas OTA license required.

Qualifications

• Must have: valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Texas
• Current BLS/CPR License

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
• Engage with patients' families, providing regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop holistic treatment plans.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation reflecting care provided and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Implement treatment programs as developed by Supervising OT and discuss patient progress.

Responsibilities

Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.

Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient

Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.

Actively participate in implementing treatment programs as developed by Supervising OT and discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
