Connect Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in the Garland/Addison area. You will provide in-home therapy, assess pediatric needs, and collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care.

The role emphasizes building lasting relationships with patients and families, flexible scheduling, and one-on-one training and mentoring support within a supportive work culture.

Qualifikationen

• Valid, active Texas OT license or COTA certification.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy (OT only)
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders. (OT only)
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
• Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient
• Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
• Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.

Competitive per-visit compensation based on role, licensure (OT or COTA), and experience.

Requirements

MUST have:

• A valid, active Occupational Therapy license and/or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of Texas
• Current BLS/CPR License
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automotive insurance
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required
