Connect Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Houston, Texas area. You will provide in-home therapy services to pediatric patients, developing plans in collaboration with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• A valid, active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas.
• Current BLS/CPR license.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and automotive insurance.
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests to assess pediatric needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Provide in-home therapy for pediatric patients with various diagnoses.
• Engage with families, giving regular updates on progress and goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create holistic treatment plans.
• Maintain thorough documentation and communicate changes to the care team.
• Participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a ride range of diagnoses.
• Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient
• Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
• Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
