Job summary

KidsCare Home Health in Kentucky seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric home-based OT, evaluating and treating children in their homes and coaching families. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and tailor activities to improve daily living skills and functional independence.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in OT with active state licensure and CPR certification. Pediatric/home health experience is preferred; a flexible schedule and commitment to family education

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in OT is required.
• Current state licensure to practice OT is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Home health and pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct occupational therapy for pediatric patients in home health.
• Direct patient and caregiver in tasks to restore and improve function.
• Coordinate care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer to additional services as appropriate.
• Participate in QA/QI programs and ongoing education.
