Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our therapist-operated team. The OT will provide in-home services, evaluate and treat pediatric clients, and coach families to support ongoing progress.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current state licensure in Maryland (or applicable state).
• CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients in in-home health setting.
• Direct patients and caregivers in therapeutic tasks to restore/ enhance function.
• Coordinate care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients to appropriate services and resources.
• Consult with physician on progress and maintain records.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; participate in QA/PI programs.
• Participate in continuing education and mentorship of students/new hires.
