Job summary

May Center for Early Intervention in West Springfield, MA is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team serving birth to three in home or daycare settings. You will assess, plan objectives, and deliver therapy within family-centered environments.

You will also train classroom staff, coordinate with families and other professionals, and contribute to IEP evaluations to maximize developmental outcomes. A Massachusetts OT license is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved program in occupational therapy.
• Licensure: Valid OT license in Massachusetts.

Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist works under the Early Intervention Program Director as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services to children from birth to three years of age in a family-centered program. The Occupational Therapist works directly with children and their families in the children's natural environments, including, but not limited to, the children's homes and/or daycare settings.
