Job summary

University Hospitals Urgent Care seeks a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality care for patients aged 0-26, focusing on pediatrics and adolescent medicine. You will perform procedures, interpret studies, and educate families while collaborating with physicians across centers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years pediatric experience, an active NP license, DEA, and BLS/PALS. Travel to other centers may be required; strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Pediatric NP license required and active in state.
• 5+ years pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• DEA registration and current BLS/PALS certifications required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with families and staff.
• Ability to travel to other University Hospitals Urgent Care centers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients ages 0-26 with emphasis on pediatric and adolescent care.
• Perform procedures within scope (suturing, incision and drainage, splinting).
• Read and interpret X-rays and EKGs; educate patients and families.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure quality care.
• Collaborate with physicians and center team; participate in meetings and training.
