University Hospitals Urgent Care by WellStreet is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality care for patients aged 0–26, focusing on pediatric and adolescent care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The role involves procedures like suturing and drainage, interpreting X-rays and EKGs, and collaborating with physicians and staff to support patient care. Must have pediatric clinical experience and current licensure/DEA/PALS/BLS.

Qualifications

• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Active medical license in practice state or ability to obtain licensure.
• Current DEA registration.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients ages 0–26 with emphasis on pediatric and adolescent care.
• Perform procedures within scope: suturing, incision and drainage, splinting.
• Read and interpret X-rays and EKGs; educate patients and families.
• Maintain complete medical documentation and ensure quality care.
• Travel to other University Hospitals Urgent Care centers as needed.
