Job summary

BrightStar Care of Salt Lake City is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide pediatric home care in West Jordan, UT. The role involves in-home assessments, implementing Plan of Care, and coordinating with families and the care team.

Qualifications

• RN license and pediatric care experience required.
• Minimum 1 year pediatric experience in home care.

• Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful in-home nursing care based on individualized Plan of Care.
• Conduct in-home assessments and monitor changes in patient condition.
• Proactively update families regarding care plans and health changes.

We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) interested in providing home care for a pediatric client in West Jordan, UT.

Available Shifts

• Monday - Friday - 3pm - 11pm
• Saturday - Sunday - 8am - 8pm

We are looking for an RN experienced or interested in:

• Medication setup and oversight
• Supporting verbal and developmental skills
• General early childhood care
• Vent and trach care

RN Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful care to clients based on individualized Plan of Care
• Conduct in-home assessments
• Monitor and track changes in clients’ conditions and needs, keeping the Director of Nursing and appropriate personnel informed
• Proactively update clients’ families regarding care plans, health changes, and concerns

RN Requirements

• Minimum Of 1 Year Pediatric Experience Required
• Minimum of 1 year in home care required
• Current unrestricted RN license in Utah
• Current CPR and ACLS Certification
• Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
