Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to care for a 13-year-old boy with complex medical needs in the home in Orem, Utah. The role involves providing one-on-one pediatric nursing, enteral feedings, ventilator/BiPAP management, suctioning, nebulizer treatments, and mobility support.

Availability is Tue Wed Fri Sat 10:00 AM–6:00 PM. Requirements include at least 1 year pediatric nursing, Utah RN license, CPR/ACLS, ability to pass drug test and background check, and a valid

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience.
• Experience with ventilator management, BiPAP, and respiratory care.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Utah.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Enteral feedings, Ventilator and BiPAP management, suctioning, and nebulizer treatments.
• Medication administration and prescribed treatments.
• Passive range of motion (PROM) exercises.
• Mobility assistance and repositioning.

Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse with pediatric experience who is passionate about providing specialized, one-on-one care? BrightStar Care is seeking a dedicated RN to care for a 13-year-old boy with complex medical needs in the comfort of his home. This is an opportunity to provide personalized nursing care, support his daily needs, and make a meaningful difference in his quality of life.

Seeking nurses to care for sweet, bedbound, school age, special needs child. Nursing cares include enteral feedings, BiPAP management, suctioning, nebulizers, treatments, PROM, etc. Creative play, and singing appreciated. Make a huge difference in the life of a child and his family!

Meet Your Future Client

Our client is a 13-year-old boy with special healthcare needs who is nonverbal, has limited mobility, and is bedbound. He is ventilator-dependent but does not have a tracheostomy. We are looking for a skilled, patient, and attentive pediatric nurse who is comfortable providing respiratory support and specialized care to help him remain safe and comfortable at home.

Location: Orem, Utah

Available Shifts:

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday | 10:00 AM-6:00 PM

Your Role as an RN:

You will provide individualized nursing care based on the client's Plan of Care, including:

• Enteral feedings
• Ventilator and BiPAP management
• Suctioning and nebulizer treatments
• Medication administration and prescribed treatments
• Passive range of motion (PROM) exercises
• Mobility assistance and repositioning
• Support with daily care, comfort, and overall well-being

Your clinical skills, patience, and compassionate approach will help ensure this young client receives attentive, quality care tailored to his needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• At least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience required
• Experience with ventilator management, BiPAP, and respiratory care
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Utah
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications, as required for the position
