Job summary

BrightStar Care, Sandy, UT, is seeking an RN or LPN to provide in‑home pediatric care. You will perform assessments, implement plans of care, and coordinate with the nursing leadership to ensure high‑quality care for a pediatric client in Sandy.

Requirements include 1 year pediatric and in‑home care experience, Utah RN/LPN license, CPR/ACLS, TB test or chest X‑ray, and a valid driver’s license with insurance. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Pediatric home care experience is required.
• Unrestricted RN or LPN license in Utah.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications are required.
• Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray.

Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful care to clients based on individualized Plan of Care.
• Conduct in‑home assessments.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions to the Director of Nursing and appropriate personnel.
• Proactively update families regarding care plans, health changes, and concerns.

Available Shifts

• Monday -9pm - 9am

We are looking for an RN or LPN experienced or interested in:

• Medication setup and oversight
• Supporting verbal and developmental skills
• General early childhood care
• Vent and trach care

RN and LPN Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful care to clients based on individualized Plan of Care

RN and LPN Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year pediatric experience required
• Minimum of 1 year in home care required
• Current unrestricted RN or LPN license in Utah
• Current CPR and ACLS Certification
• Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
