Job summary

BrightStar Care in Orem, Utah is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one pediatric home health care for a 13-year-old boy with complex medical needs.

The RN will perform enteral feedings, ventilator and BiPAP management, suctioning, nebulizer treatments, medications, and PROM, while supporting mobility and daily well-being. Shifts Tue/Wed/Fri/Sat 10:00 AM–6:00 PM; BrightStar offers benefits, weekly pay, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience.
• Experience with ventilator management and BiPAP.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Utah.
• CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

BrightStar Care is seeking a dedicated RN to care for a 13-year-old boy with complex medical needs in the comfort of his home. Seeking nurses to care for sweet, bedbound, school age, special needs child. Nursing cares include enteral feedings, BiPAP management, suctioning, nebulizers, treatments, PROM, etc. Creative play, and singing appreciated. Make a huge difference in the life of a child and his family!

Meet Your Future Client

Our client is a 13-year-old boy with special healthcare needs who is nonverbal, has limited mobility, and is bedbound. He is ventilator-dependent but does not have a tracheostomy. We are looking for a skilled, patient, and attentive pediatric nurse who is comfortable providing respiratory support and specialized care to help him remain safe and comfortable at home.

Location: Orem, Utah

Available Shifts:

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday | 10:00 AM-6:00 PM

Your Role as an RN:

You will provide individualized nursing care based on the client's Plan of Care, including:

• Enteral feedings
• Ventilator and BiPAP management
• Suctioning and nebulizer treatments
• Medication administration and prescribed treatments
• Passive range of motion (PROM) exercises
• Mobility assistance and repositioning
• Support with daily care, comfort, and overall well-being

Your clinical skills, patience, and compassionate approach will help ensure this young client receives attentive, quality care tailored to his needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• At least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience required
• Experience with ventilator management, BiPAP, and respiratory care
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Utah
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications, as required for the position
• Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
