Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC is seeking a registered nurse for the LCH 8P Progressive Care Unit on night shift. The unit is a 24-bed pediatric progressive care area with a typical 3:1 patient-to-nurse ratio and serves post-PICU/CVICU patients, including transplant cases.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, a current RN license in North Carolina, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire; 6 months RN experience minimum, with 1 year

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire.
• At least 6 months of RN experience; not for new graduates.
• 1 year inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
