Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital (LCH) is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 8P Progressive Care Unit, a 24-bed pediatric step-down unit specializing in cardiac, nephrology and transplant patients. Night shifts: three 12-hour shifts per week (7pm–7am) with a demanding but rewarding pace.

Requires completion of accredited nursing program, RN license, BLS; ACLS and PALS within 6 months; 6 months RN experience, inpatient preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• State RN license required in which the teammate practices.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required.
• ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• At least 6 months of RN experience; not for new graduates.
• Inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Lead to create a safe environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
