Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking a part-time nursing support role for the Hematology/Oncology unit. Under RN supervision, you will plan and carry out approved patient care, supervise activities of daily living, and assist with 1:1 observation when required.

Responsibilities include responding to patient alarms, documenting in the medical record, and supporting teammates by organizing charts and supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent AND one of the above options.
• Registered through Ohio STNA or Ohio CNA programs, or reciprocity if applicable.
• EMT/EMS registry is acceptable, if applicable.
• At least 1 year of patient care experience in the last three years.
• CPR training and current certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan of Care: provide approved care to assigned patients under RN supervision.
• Supervise activities of daily living and assist with developmentally appropriate tasks.
• Assist with de-escalation, patient transport, and 1:1 observation as needed.
• Respond to alarms, document in the medical record, and support team with supplies.
