Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.
- Graduation from accredited APRN program.
- Current license as a Professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice.
- Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois required.
Responsibilities
- Manage the care of pediatric neurology patients within scope of practice.
- Obtain health history, interpret tests and records.
- Perform physical exams and document findings.
- Prescribe and develop treatment plans with physician collaboration.
- Educate patients and families about plans and care.
- Coordinate scheduling for procedures and related documentation.
- Refer to appropriate specialties when needed.
- Reassess treatment plans with patients and families.
