The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP) Department of Pediatrics seeks a Pediatric Neurologist for a faculty position at Assistant/Associate Professor or Professor/Physician Surgeon to strengthen a growing division. Responsibilities include patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings, teaching medical students and residents, and pursuing scholarly activity.

Qualifications

• MD/DO Degree or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for Illinois Physician License.
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Neurology with a concentration in Pediatric Neurology.
• 2 years of Pediatrics Residency and 3 years of Pediatric Neurology Fellowship.

Responsabilités

• Provide acute and ongoing consultative care to children with broad range of neurological conditions including epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, developmental delays, headaches, movement disorders, and neurogenetic problems in the hospital and outpatient setting.
• Participate in educational and training programs for medical students and residents of the Department of Pediatrics.
• Participate in collaborative research activities of the Division and Department.
• Perform other duties of a university faculty member including committee assignments, curriculum development and student counseling

Formation

MD/DO Degree or foreign equivalent
