Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for pediatric and neonatal care on the nights shift. You’ll deliver advanced respiratory treatments, collaborate with physicians and care teams, and support families with compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; strong patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Serve as a clinical resource for physicians, nurses and families.
• Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy treatments and assessments.
• Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory conditions and treatments.
• Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment and devices.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary rounds and mentor team members.
