Mercy South is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide direct patient care across respiratory services and consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness. Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; PALS for ER.
• Physical demands: push/pull/grip up to 50 lbs; pinch up to 10 lbs; kneel, crouch, crawl.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.
