Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver direct patient care and collaborate with physicians and nurses, with NICU rotation on a rotating basis. The role emphasizes therapy effectiveness and patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a CoARC-approved program, RCP license, and RRT credential; PALS is required for ER, ACLS preferred. This is a full-time night-shift role with a $20,000 sign-on bonus for RRTs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• RRT credential NBRC required.
• ER staff require PALS certification.
• ACLS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.
• Perform duties as assigned.
