Qualifications

• Degree and professional credentials/board certification as Registered Music Therapist.
• Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
• Ability to engage in meaningful, therapeutic relationships with children and families.
• Commitment to culturally humble, individualized services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary assessments of the client's developmental status.
• Assess family and child strengths/resources, concerns, and progress.
• Provide child and family-centered services and activities developmentally appropriate for birth to three.
• Provide service coordination by scheduling, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating intervention plans.
• Partner with families in IFSP development to identify goals and strategies.
• Facilitate parent-child interactions to support development.
• Complete progress notes, reports, and correspondence using Thom system.
• Provide interventions for infants and toddlers with developmental delays or risk.
