Atlantic Medical Management, LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide patient care under physician supervision and support front desk operations. The role emphasizes accurate medical record updates, patient communication, and coordination of pre- to post-visit activities.

Ideal candidates have CMA certification and pediatric experience, with solid medical terminology knowledge and proficiency in Teams, Outlook, and office software to support daily clinical and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program.
• Pediatric MA experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of medical terminology through formal education or hands-on training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and general office software.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and greet patients in a professional, courteous, and caring manner.
• Front desk check-in/out, collect copayments and payments on patient balances, and schedule patients.
• Update patient medical records in the NextGen Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
• Assist in coordinating and conducting patient care from pre-visit through post-visit.
• Take medical histories and record vital signs.
• Assist physician during examinations and procedures, including injections and suture removal.
