Job summary

Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to handle patient intake, update medical records, and administer screening tools under physician supervision. This role supports a fast-paced clinic and requires attention to detail and compassion.

You will assist with walk-in and scheduled visits, record vital signs, collect specimens, document test results, and help coordinate referrals while ensuring quality standards and patient-centered care within a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• National Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• National Certification CCMA from: NHA, AAMA, NAHP, ARMA, AMT, AMCA, or NCCT.

Responsibilities

• Handles patient intake and updates medical records under physician supervision.
• Records medical information and test results, takes and records vital signs.
• Assists with walk-in and scheduled clinic visits and ensures data quality.
• Guides patients through the health care system and supports care coordination.
