Job summary

PediaTrust LLC's Wheaton Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers and coordinate care for pediatric patients in our Wheaton and Batavia locations. This part-time role offers 10–12 hours per week with rotating Saturdays, and requires strong organization, teamwork, and patient-centered communication.

You’ll perform vitals, assist procedures, document in EMR, handle in-office lab tasks, and help maintain a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge and comfort with EPIC or other EMR systems.
• One year of experience in a clinical environment.
• CPR certification.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vitals, rooms patients and gathers specimens.
• Documents necessary information in the EMR.
• Collects specimens, performs in-office lab testing and prepares specimens for outside labs.
• Assists with in-office patient procedures per protocol and training.
• Contributes to the daily upkeep of office space and equipment.
• Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values.
