UW Health is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant (60% FTE) for our pediatric and adolescent medicine team in Wisconsin. You will prepare patients, take vital signs, document complaints, and assist with examinations and treatments in a patient-family centered setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program required.
• Licensure as an LPN or completion of MA apprenticeship programs.
• CCMA certification as a UWH employee or acceptance into MA Apprenticeship - Accelerated.
• CPR/BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination, obtain vital signs and document chief complaints.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol.
• Promote healthy lifestyles and patient education.
• Support pediatrics team in comprehensive care from birth through adolescence.
