Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Rome Pediatrics department in Georgia. The role includes rooming patients, taking vitals, and supporting providers with procedures in a 40-hour Mon-Fri, 8am–5pm schedule.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited MA program; others with clinical training may qualify. The compensation range is $21.85–$32.80 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or clinically in nature training per DD214 or EMT may suffice.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform rooming tasks including vital signs and health maintenance.
• Assist providers with procedures and patient care.
• Conduct venipuncture, specimen collection and POCT per orders.
• Administer medications and vaccines safely.
• Maintain clean patient care areas and equipment.
