Prestige Medical Group is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant for Pediatrics in Rome, GA. The CMA will support pediatric teams across multiple locations, traveling between offices as needed to ensure seamless patient care.

The role requires at least two years of pediatric/family medicine MA experience, CMA certification, and current BLS/CPR. Strong EMR skills and excellent communication are essential for high-quality patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• CMA certification or equivalent and at least 2 years in Pediatrics or Family Medicine

• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills; on-call after hours

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain age-appropriate vital signs and growth measurements
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during visits and procedures
• Administer vaccines and medications within scope of practice
• Perform strep, COVID-19, RSV testing as applicable
• Perform hearing and vision screenings and urinalysis
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR
• Maintain exam room cleanliness and supply readiness

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to support our Pediatric teams in our Rome, GA location.

Position Summary

The Multi-Site Certified Medical Assistant plays a key role in providing high-quality clinical support to our Pediatric providers and patients. This position requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while traveling between Pediatric offices as needed.

Room patients and obtain age-appropriate vital signs and growth measurements

Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during visits and procedures

Administer vaccines and medications within scope of practice

Strep testing

COVID-19 testing

Urinalysis

Perform hearing and vision screenings

Perform ear irrigations

Document patient information accurately within the electronic medical record

Maintain exam room cleanliness, stocking, and readiness

Manage vaccine inventory and maintain compliance with VFC requirements

Utilize GRITS for vaccine documentation and reconciliation

Support minor procedures and instrument sterilization processes

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families

Collaborate effectively with providers and team members across multiple locations

Qualifications

Required

Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or equivalent)

Minimum of two (2) years of Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics or Family Medicine

Current BLS/CPR certification

Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic medical records

Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills

• On call after hours phone rotations

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred

Epic EHR experience

Experience with Georgia Registry of Immunization Transactions and Services (GRITS)

Experience with Vaccines for Children (VFC) program requirements
