Job summary

Well Rooted Pediatrics in Frisco, TX seeks an experienced Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative areas of a busy pediatric practice. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a medical office and holds CMA/RMA/CCMA certification with BLS preferred.

The role requires cross-training, adaptability, excellent organization, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude to ensure exceptional patient experiences. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years of medical office experience.
• Certification as Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA or equivalent) required.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front Office: Welcome patients with outstanding service, answer calls, schedule and reschedule appointments, verify demographics and insurance, collect copays and self-pay amounts, assist with registration forms and HIPAA-compliant documentation, maintain accurate EHR data and records, keep reception area organized, assist with administrative projects.
