Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior medical assistant experience or education.
• Knowledge of EKG placement and pediatric processing.
• Ability to collect lab specimens via nasal swab and venipuncture.
• Professional, friendly demeanor with strong communication.
• Experience with pediatric care and multitasking in fast-paced settings.
• Experience with medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers and patients.
• Greet and register patients on arrival.
• Obtain medical history, vitals, and intake information.
• Prepare patients for X-rays.
• Perform and document routine lab tests (venipuncture preferred).
• Irrigate wounds and assist with wound care.
• Assist in lab quality control testing and patient care within scope.
• Maintain exam rooms and front reception stocked; ensure cleanliness.
• Respond to emergencies and notify medical team as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
